Report exposes Maine’s woke, pro-LGBTQ+ education system after Trump confronts Governor
In a national governors’ meeting in late February at the White House, President Trump warned Maine Gov. Janet Mills that her state would lose federal funding unless it observed his executive order, “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.”
“I’ll see you in court,” the Democrat said, to which Trump rejoined, “Good. I’ll see you in court. I’ll look forward to that.” His administration immediately launched several investigations into Maine’s use of federal tax dollars.
Gov. Janet Mills thought she could embarrass the president of the United States right there in the White House, but she’s the one whose unpopular agenda has been unmasked.
On March 3, Campus Reform released an eye-opening report detailing ways the Maine Department of Education spends its education dollars, including $358.4 million in K-12 federal subsidies.
This report shows how hard it will be for President Trump to ‘fix’ government schools. Many parents may believe schools will get better now that Trump is acting forcefully, but parents need to understand that government schools are aggressively resisting being fixed and the best approach is to get kids out.
As revealed in Campus Reform’s report, Maine’s Department of Education website provides directives including these:
“Defining LGBTQ+ Words for Elementary Students:” This guide defines words like “transgender,” “gender expansive,” “non-binary” and sexual orientations for elementary schoolchildren.
LGBTQ+ in Math Problems: “Simple Ways to Incorporate LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive Material Across the Curriculum” “guides teachers to include LGBTQ teachings across different subjects, including math.”
LGBTQ+ in Social Studies, Art and Music: “Simple Ways to Incorporate LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive Material Across the Curriculum” “guides teachers to include LGBTQ teachings in social studies, art, and music.”
Non-Binary Animals Activity: Children kindergarten through second grade learn “the terms binary, non-binary, symmetrical and asymmetrical” by having them draw “non-binary” butterflies with two different colored wings.
Gender Snowperson: Third-grade through eighth-grade students learn about gender identity, pronouns and sexual orientation. Students dress the “snowperson” in a range of “gender expansive” items.
Remember, this is just the tip of the iceberg in one state. We only know about this because of researchers who dug it out. How much else is going on that we have yet to see in classrooms all over America? The only real solution is homeschooling or private schooling.
In an effort to get the federal government out of education entirely, USPIE recently updated and sent their Blueprint to Close the Department of Education to the Trump Administration and Republican lawmakers. USPIE was pleased to hear back from Trump’s DOE that the Blueprint was received and shared with key officials.
USPIE aspires to create a culture where parents, empowered with the authority to choose what and how their children learn, are the undisputed primary educators of their children; where local schools operate in support of families, and where education is unencumbered by federal mandates. USPIE’s podcast, “Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few,” educates Americans on the various forms of indoctrination, harmful policies and affronts to parents’ rights occurring in government schools across the country.Listen to “Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few,” on YouTube, Facebook, Spotify and X.
