USPIE’s Millstone award goes to Planned Parenthood’s president and CEO for targeting children with graphic coloring books at science center
When parents allowed their children to go on a school field trip to the Kentucky Science Center in Louisville, they didn’t expect the kids to find sexually graphic adult coloring books.
Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), which provided the coloring books to the facility, has “won” the April 2025 Millstone of the Month award from United States Parents Involved in Education.
This organization’s perverse sex education materials are already in nearly every public school. The science center is visited by kids inside and outside the school system, including homeschoolers and private schoolers.
The agenda is not all that complicated; corrupt the kids into having sex as early as possible and then make sure they know where to find the nearest Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. For all Planned Parenthood does, and especially for their role in spoiling children’s innocence at the Kentucky Science Center, Alexis McGill Johnson richly deserves USPIE’s April 2025 Millstone.
USPIE’s Millstone of the Month Award goes to “the person involved in government schools who has committed the most egregious acts against children.”
Television station WDRB first reported on the incident involving students ages 8 to 13 who were attending a field trip from area schools, according to Christian podcaster and former Fox News Radio host Todd Starnes.
“The adult coloring book was created by Planned Parenthood and contains sheets that show male and female private parts and other sexual education activities like crosswords and word searches,” Starnes reported.
“We deeply regret the harm this caused,” the science center said in an online post. “We are taking immediate steps to ensure that all materials distributed at our events are thoroughly reviewed in advance and this partner is no longer welcome at the Science Center.”
A Planned Parenthood spokesperson claimed that “a staff member inadvertently distributed an item that wouldn’t typically be used in a setting like this event, along with many other accurate and age-appropriate materials.”
Starnes commented, “Do you really think the Planned Parenthood coloring books were inadvertently given to the children?”
Heather Terry, of Elizabethtown, told the television station her 9-year-old daughter came home from the field trip with the coloring book. “My concern was the material itself and the content inside for my child personally,” Terry said. “I feel like that’s something I should have control over — when she sees and how she gets that information, not just given out freely because she walked up and someone says ‘Here, do you want a coloring book?’”
The science center said they have severed ties with Planned Parenthood and the organization will no longer be allowed to participate in the center’s events.
This incident shows how today’s parents have to be hyper vigilant even in places like science centers and libraries. April 6-12 is National Library Week. This is a perfect time to spotlight the need for removing inappropriate books and materials from children’s school libraries, helping to put an end to the indoctrination of America’s children.
United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) is a nonprofit, nationwide coalition that is fighting to return education to its proper local roots and restore parental authority over their children’s education by helping parents and local communities to escape federal and other national influences. It is the vision of USPIE to create a culture where parents, empowered with the authority to choose what and how their children learn, are the undisputed primary educators of their children, where local schools operate in support of families, and where education is unencumbered by federal mandates.
