Gubernatorial candidate targets prenatal biology as new book portrays abortion as a ‘superpower’

Parents need to know that some political candidates oppose having government schools teach real biology, including the development of a baby in the womb, because it is “political”

Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton, a pro-abortion Democrat, says medically accurate information about pre-born babies does not belong in Ohio schools.

She opposes a proposed law, the “Baby Olivia Act,” which would require schools to show students in fifth grade through 12th grade a medically accurate video depicting a baby’s development in the womb, the Daily Signal reports.

HB 485 passed the Ohio House on Nov. 19 in a largely party-line vote, 59-27, and is awaiting action in the state Senate.

“Ohioans have made it clear that they don’t want national political battles playing out in our schools and classrooms,” Acton posted on X. “This decision by our Statehouse is doing exactly that — and subjecting some of our youngest kids to charged information that directly favors an agenda that Ohioans overwhelmingly voted against.”

Parents need to know that some political candidates oppose having government schools teach real biology, including the development of a baby in the womb, because it is ‘political’.

These same candidates are fine with teaching kids the clearly political ‘woke’ LGBTQ+ ideology pushed by the major teacher unions.

Ohio State Rep. Melanie Miller (R-Ashland), who introduced the bill, said, “This legislation strengthens science education in Ohio’s public schools by giving students a clear, age appropriate and factual understanding of early human development. The development of human life is truly beautiful. It is science. It is complex. It’s intricate, and it’s worthy of being taught.”

An opt-out portion of the bill allows parents to request that their child be excused from watching the video.

Unlike the government school kid corruption lobby, which fights parental opt-out options, the sponsors of this bill want to give parents the right to decide whether their child should see it or not.

The teacher unions promote the entire LGBTQ+ agenda in government schools, including ‘transitioning’ children to the opposite sex without their parents’ knowledge. Parents need to get their kids out of these schools as soon as they can.

Meanwhile, a new children’s book portraying abortion as a “superpower” is set for release in January, Fox News reports.

“Abortion is Everything” is an illustrated, full-color, 36-page book from the leftist group Shout Your Abortion. Geared toward children ages 5 to 8, it touts abortion as a “uniquely human superpower” that allows humans to “make choices that lead us toward the life we envision.”

The book “empowers parents and kids to begin rewriting our cultural scripts about abortion at the most foundational level,” the book’s website states.

Given the enthusiastic support of abortion by many educators, it would not be surprising to begin seeing this new book in school libraries. So, it’s out with biology and in with killing babies as a ‘superpower.’ The predatory nature of these evil, so-called educators cannot be overstated.
