Parents can’t believe their sons are under Title IX investigation for objecting to a girl invading their locker room

The last thing Renae Smith, a busy mother to a newborn, toddler and teen, needed was her sophomore son’s Virginia school district to “wrongfully accuse” him of a Title IX violation.
That’s what happened when Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) took a group of high school boys’ objections to a female in their locker room in March and turned it into a full-blown “sexual harassment” inquiry, Smith told The Federalist.
When the allegedly gender-confused female student started frequenting the males’ locker room at the beginning of the year under LCPS’ gender identity policy, Smith said, her son shared his unease with school staff.
After the girl allegedly took a covert video of the boys discussing the situation, LCPS started the investigation of the boys, not the girl.

This is the same Virginia district that covered up a rape and an assault in 2021 and has silenced parents at school board meetings. The only sure way to protect kids is to get them out. Even after Loudoun’s board became the national symbol of public-school tyranny, they have not backed off even a little.
Smith said LCPS first called her in March to have what she thought was an innocuous discussion, in which she mentioned her son had previously voiced his concerns to school staff. Days later, the district’s tone and approach shifted, Smith recalled.
During a school board meeting on May 6, Smith publicly urged the district to drop the investigation, pleading with the board to address its “systemic failures.”
In 2021, after a high school girl was raped by a boy wearing a skirt in a girls’ restroom, the district moved the boy to another high school, where he assaulted another girl. Weeks later, the Democrat-dominated school board enacted a policy allowing students to use the restroom matching their claimed gender identity.
Loudoun school officials also suspended a Christian elementary school teacher in May 2021 for refusing to use misleading pronouns. He sued and was reinstated after the state Supreme Court upheld a lower court injunction and a settlement.
As you can see from the board’s continued intransigence, this is not an either/or situation. And this kind of stuff is going on all over the country. Citizens need to protect their kids by getting them out of these corrupt schools while also voting out corrupt school boards as soon as possible. Perhaps someone can also help these boys’ parents file a sexual harassment lawsuit against the board. This madness has to be stopped.
