New York school official, a drag queen charged with sex offenses, gets USPIE’s July Millstone of the Month
Government schools have become indoctrination centers spearheaded by inadequate and insidious leadership who are intent on corrupting America’s children
A New York school board vice president who has been charged with sexual offenses against children has been awarded the July 2026 Millstone of the Month from United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE). This monthly award from USPIE is given to the person involved in government schools who has committed the most egregious acts against children.
Travis Barr Longo, 46, was arrested by the New York State Police following an investigation into allegations that he engaged in a pattern of sexually explicit digital communications with a child under the age of 12, according to Fox News.
Longo, who serves as vice president of the Cazenovia Central School District Board of Education and has boasted of being the first drag queen elected to a school board, faces four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
I wish this were an isolated case, but sadly, that isn’t the reality. Parents have a right to know who will be educating their children and demand adequate and appropriate educators.
School is supposed to be a safe place where children can learn math, science and reading. Instead, government schools have become indoctrination centers spearheaded by inadequate and insidious leadership who are intent on corrupting America’s children.
Investigators uncovered “numerous images and videos of child pornography” during a search of Longo’s cell phone on June 18, “including several videos depicting the sexual abuse of infants that Longo had received from other users of an internet-based messaging application,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
According to court records obtained by WSYR-TV, police also “recovered other chats on the device in which Longo discussed with other individuals his sexual interest in children, including a minor male child known to him and to whom he has had access.”
In addition to this story, there are other news headlines, such as: ‘New Jersey “MAGA mom” school board member allegedly targeted in “vile” text scandal: “They wanted me dead”’ and ‘Judge dismisses charges against convicted sex offender.’ Isn’t it telling how bad things are in government schools when we have so many nominees to consider each month for this award?
