USPIE President calls for an end to indoctrination of children after Charlie Kirk’s assassination
The devastating shooting of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk has left the nation in mourning. In a society where the Left resorts to violence to silence those who oppose their beliefs, young Americans who are continuously being indoctrinated with Marxist theory must know that this ideology is wrong.
United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) Founder and President Sheri Few urges that the nation’s government education system must restore parental and local control and strip schools of Leftist indoctrination in order to create a safer nation.
This horrific political assassination on a college campus, attended by many young Americans, offers a wretched portrait of the state of our nation’s education system. It is no secret that government schools indoctrinate children, pitting them against one another with pedagogies rooted in Marxist theory. When you teach children to hate themselves and others and to become social justice warriors at all costs, you should not be surprised when heart-wrenching tragedies like this occur. Most American colleges have been steeped in Marxism and liberal ideology for decades, where ‘educators’ defend violence as free speech. Some responsibility for this tragedy must also fall on elected officials who have publicly enticed violence against people whom they disagree with — this is diametrically opposed to the victim’s sentiment, who encouraged civil discussion with those who disagreed with him. We must end the indoctrination of children in America’s schools by restoring parental and local control and by stripping schools of modern pedagogies that teach hate. That is, if government schools are redeemable. Some of us are doubtful.

United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) is a nonprofit, nationwide coalition that is fighting to return education to its proper local roots and restore parental authority over their children’s education by helping parents and local communities to escape federal and other national influences. It is the vision of USPIE to create a culture where parents, empowered with the authority to choose what and how their children learn, are the undisputed primary educators of their children, where local schools operate in support of families, and where education is unencumbered by federal mandates.
USPIE’s powerful documentary, “Truth & Lies in American Education,” addresses some of the most glaring issues in the American education system and equips parents to make a change in their local school district for the betterment of their children. The film follows Few’s daughter-in-law, April, as she seeks to learn more about the system she was planning on exposing to her own children and learns the shocking truth. “Truth & Lies in American Education” is available for streaming on SalemNOW, as well available on DVD.
