USPIE awards April Millstone of the Month to crooked South Carolina librarians openly hiding explicit books from concerned parents

In the fight against school indoctrination, government school officials are stooping to new levels of deception in order to hide the nefarious content being taught to America’s children. A shocking report revealed that at least one school library in a South Carolina school district restricted access to its online card catalog in order to hide “critical race theory books” from parents. Emails recovered from Anderson School District One librarians reveal the overt intent to smuggle inappropriate books into classrooms, with one librarian mockingly noting that concerned parents “have their censoring guns loaded.” This direct effort to hide inappropriate material from parents goes directly against the district’s goal “to be transparent with our students, parents and community members,” according to a district spokesperson.

Due to the blatant attempt to curtail parental access to divisive reading materials in schools, United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE), a leader in the fight to defend parental rights and government removal from education, awards the April “Millstone of the Month Award” to Anderson School District One librarians. The Millstone of the Month Award is given to the person or organization involved in government schools who has committed the most egregious acts against children.

“The contemptuous attitude towards parental involvement in their children’s education has gone on long enough,” said USPIE Founder and Executive Director Sheri Few. “Not only are these librarians attempting to hide what is being taught to the students, but they are openly mocking parental concern over the welfare of their own children. This outrageous attitude towards parents merely exercising their God-given rights over their children reveals the real heart behind many in today’s education. They are more concerned with their political beliefs and social agendas than the welfare of today’s children. The answer here is simple — parents must remove their children from government education immediately if they want to protect them and protect our country’s freedom.”

For parents unsure of where to start, USPIE offers powerful resources that equip concerned citizens to fight back against indoctrination happening in government schools. USPIE’s latest film, “Truth & Lies in American Education,” uncovers what is being taught inside government schools, such as critical race theory (CRT), Marxist ideology, and anti-American ideals. “Truth & Lies in American Education” actually follows Few’s own daughter-in-law, April, as she learns about the horrifying truth about the system her own children would experience. “Truth & Lies in American Education” addresses questions such as:

  • Are standardized tests being used for data collection?

  • Is there a federal education scheme to control the nation’s economy?

  • Why is the study of history so often anti-American and anti-Christian?

  • Are children being taught to become political activists?

  • What is the true aim of “comprehensive” sexuality education?

  • How much transgender influence is there in government schools?

  • What about critical race theory and the 1619 Project?

“Truth & Lies in American Education” is available for streaming on SalemNOW, as well available on DVD. For more information about “Truth & Lies in American Education,” click here.

United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) is a nonprofit, nationwide coalition that seeks to return education to its proper local roots and restore parental authority over their children’s education by helping parents and local communities to escape federal and other national influences. It is the vision of USPIE to create a culture where parents, empowered with the authority to choose what and how their children learn, are the undisputed primary educators of their children, where local schools operate in support of families, and where education is unencumbered by federal mandates.
